Andrew Young has over 30 years experience practicing optometry. In that time he has worked in the Stirling area and in 2015 opened his own practice in Osborne Park with his wife Lee.
Over the years Andrew has built up a loyal and ever growing patient base. Generations of families have entrusted him with their eye care. His excellent care and genuine interpersonal skills have also led to strong inter-referral relationships with local general practitioners and well-respected Ophthalmologists.
Andrew gained his degree with honours from the University of New South Wales and is an Ophthalmic Medicines Prescriber which enables him to treat patients and prescribe medications for eye conditions.
Andrew is a member of the Optometrists Association and regularly attends continuing education meetings to keep up to date with best practice techniques.
Loyal long time patients can attest to Andrew’s excellent optometric and interpersonal skills, his thoroughness and his genuine concern and care for their eye health.

We have invested in the latest technology so your eye test is more accurate and comprehensive, including a fundus camera, ocular coherence tomographer and corneal topographer to aid in the early detection of many eye diseases.

Eyeconik Optometrists has invested in the latest technology equipment to ensure your eye test is more accurate and comprehensive. We have a fundus camera and ocular coherence tomographer to aid in the early detection of many eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma.
Andrew will conduct a thorough assessment of your vision and the health of your eyes. At the end of the consultation he will take the time to explain his findings in terms you can understand.

We recommend yearly check-ups for all patients over 65 and children otherwise every two years for all other adults.

Eyeconik is located at 1B/215 Main Street, Osborne Park (near the Commonwealth Bank) and is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday mornings 9:00am to 12:00pm. Dedicated customer parking is located at the rear of the building and is accessed via Cruickshank Lane. Otherwise there is plenty of on street parking near by.
